Recommended Actions — Filtered Set
Suppliers Requiring Urgent SBR

Suppliers with Overall score < 3 and at least 2 respondents (high-confidence signal). Schedule SBR within 4 weeks.

Strategic Partner Candidates

Suppliers with Overall score ≥ 4.5 and at least 2 respondents. Consider for Tier-1 partnership programs.

Priority Focus Areas — Next Quarter

Region × category combinations with the lowest score (≥ 2 responses). Prioritise corrective actions in these areas.

Data Quality

The following statistics are computed at runtime from the deduplication and aggregation pipeline. Open the browser console and inspect window.DEDUP_LOG for the full audit trail.

MetricValue
Original records
Duplicates removed (Level 1 + Level 2)
Vendors aggregated (from records)
Suspected duplicates (Level 3, flagged)

Level 1 — exact duplicate: all key fields identical (supplier, respondent name, respondent email, created date) → kept the most recent record.
Level 2 — fuzzy duplicate: same normalized vendor name + same date → merged into a single record (free-text fields concatenated).
Level 3 — suspected duplicate: same normalized vendor, dates within ±3 days → flagged with ! SUSPECTED badge in the Respondents table; not removed.

Records aggregated under a single vendor profile are marked with AGGREGATED (N) in supplier tables, where N = number of unified feedback entries.

Overview

Version: 8.0 · Executive Edition  |  Published: 2026-05-19  |  Audience: DCPG SRM Program Manager, DCSP L7 Regional Leads, SOC2 Auditor  |  Refresh frequency: on every new survey submission (near-real-time)

This report provides an aggregated and filterable view of DCSP supplier performance evaluations collected through the AWS Performance Survey (External Survey) as part of the FY2026 SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) program. The objective is to support Supplier Business Review (SBR) activities, SOC2 audits, and supplier tiering decisions through a single interactive data source.

Primary audience: DCPG Program Manager, DCSP Procurement Category Managers, L7 Regional Leads, GRC team.

Data source: Smartsheet Form — app.smartsheet.com/b/form/3de1545b018e4b9a9f0515eda3b04908. Extraction: Excel file downloaded from Smartsheet, processed via Python script with normalization, deduplication, and scoring.

Key Metrics

MetricDefinitionHow to interpret
Overall Score Arithmetic mean of the six pillar scores (excluding null pillars when no data is available). Scale 1–5. Values ≥ 4 = satisfactory performance. Values < 3 = intervention required.
Pillar Score Mean of the question scores belonging to that pillar. Identifies the specific weakest area for the supplier.
Top Tier (≥ 4.5) Suppliers with Overall Score in the Excellent tier. Candidates for Tier-1 strategic partnership.
At Risk (< 3) Suppliers with Overall Score in the Weak or At-risk tiers. Urgent SBR within 4 weeks recommended.
Low n (n=1) Suppliers with a single respondent. Score is not statistically significant. Solicit additional responses before drawing conclusions.
Data Quality Percentage of survey cells with a validly mapped answer (excluding empty values and "N/A or do not know"). Minimum acceptable threshold: 85%. Lower values require survey or scoring rule review.
Δ vs Global Difference between the filtered set's score and the global average. Δ > +0.30 = significant out-performance. Δ < -0.30 = under-performance.

Charts and Visualizations

Average Score by Pillar

Horizontal bar chart. Shows the average score for each of the 6 SRM pillars (Strategy, Safety, Security, Relationship, Operation, Financial). The reference line represents the global average (3.92 / 5 in the current dataset).

Data source: Survey Q1–Q33 mapped to 1–5 scale. Calculation: arithmetic mean of question scores, excluding N/A.

Score by Region / Category

Vertical bar charts. Show the average Overall score aggregated by region (AMER/EMEA/APAC) or DCSP category (GC/DE/CPI/Cx/Controls/SS).

Calculation: mean of the Overall scores of all responses in the group.

Region × Category Matrix

Heatmap. Each cell shows the mean Overall score for the combination and the number of responses (n=). Clicking a cell applies both filters (region + category).

Score Distribution

Stacked bar. Distribution of suppliers across the 5 performance tiers.

Supplier × Pillar Matrix (Pillar Analysis tab)

Two-entry heatmap table. Quickly identifies which supplier has which specific weakness. Useful during SBR preparation.

Theme Analysis (Qualitative Feedback tab)

Aggregation of open comments via keyword matching across 8 predefined clusters: Schedule & Timing, Change Orders & Cost, Process & Documentation, Communication, Construction & OFCI, Safety, Strategy & Planning, Staffing & Decision.

Limitation: rule-based approach. Not semantic NLP. A single comment may be counted in multiple clusters.

Methodological Notes

Scoring Rules

Each survey answer (Likert, frequency, percentage of time, incident count) is mapped to a 1–5 scale where 5 = excellent, 1 = critical. "N/A or do not know" answers are excluded from the mean calculation (do not penalise the supplier).

Pillar scores are simple arithmetic means. Overall Score is the mean of the valid pillar scores.

Supplier Deduplication

Supplier names are normalized before aggregation: lowercase, removal of punctuation, corporate suffixes (Inc, LLC, Ltd, Corp...). The canonical name displayed is the most-frequent variant.

Current effect: 1 supplier deduplicated (Langan Engineering) → 36 → 35 unique suppliers.

Dataset Limitations

Privacy & Compliance

The embedded file includes 78 work email addresses of supplier contacts. Classification: Amazon-Internal. Do not distribute externally.

This report does not replace the official SBR documentation archived in SharePoint, which remains the primary source for SOC2 audits.
